assemblyx explores how spatial assemblies can be choreographed and built through mixed-reality guidance and computational design. Working with timber components, the project prototypes digital-to-physical workflows where AR/VR supports sequencing, tolerances, and collaborative construction.
Role: computational design, MR/VR workflow setup, physical prototyping, assembly sequencing.
To bridge design intent and on-site making by surfacing part IDs, tolerances, and assembly steps in mixed reality—reducing errors, accelerating build time, and making complex timber structures legible and constructible by small teams.
